On Saturday together with our partners Viva con Agua Kampala we celebrated WORLD TOILET DAY as well as commissioning a modern toilet for the people of Kigungu. Hundreds of people have been accessing the community playground but without a toilet and this resulted into open defecation. However with the construction of the toilet, it will help reduce on open defecation and promote community hygiene. On Saturday together with our Partners Viva con Agua Kampala celebrated the WORLD TOILET DAY in our community. As part of the project, we managed to construct a Toilet at Kigungu Football pitch as the facility has been serving many people boys and girls, men and women but didn't have a toilet but with support from Viva Con Agua Kampala, we constructed a toilet at the playground which will be used by hundreds of community members as well as help reduce open defecation.
